Photos- Time to come home

Teacher Highlight:
Reflecting on our journey one of the unexpected highlights of the tour was the number of family members and friends that caught up with us to share in our journey.
In Vienna, a fellow Australian school said “they didn’t do parents”. We had 15 parents follow our journey and were also joined by others along the way; in Vienna by Nina and Aron’s mum and grandma, Tessa and Izzy’s aunts, Tim’s family friends, Edmund’s family, and Lucas the exchange student and his family; whilst in Salzburg, Raphael the exchange student journeyed on his bike from Germany to catch up with us, as well as Tim Heywood’s parents. In Montreux, we were visited by family friends of Tom, Frankie and Nicola, Nicola R’s grandparents, Liam R’s auntie, and in Paris we were visited by family of Jess W, and friends of Mrs Smith and Ms Lambert (forgive me if I have left someone out). We also bumped into Australians in the streets of Salzburg and Montreux who wished us well on our journey. These visits added to our travels and also reinforced the fact that Chatswood High is a family friendly school even across the globe.
