Here is a quick walkthrough about how to post comments on this blog. Dont worry, you dont need to register for any account to submit comments, so that means anyone can leave a comment. Ask friends and relatives to leave comments so we can keep in contact while we are overseas! I will regularly moderate the comments.
1. Click on the orange heading of a post you want to leave a comment to.
2. Scroll down and you'll see this comment box. Write your comment (and make sure you check it because it is hard to correct any mistakes you've made the post!). Proceed to the next step before posting your comment.
3. If you want to submit a comment under your name, click on the dropdown menu next to "Comment as:" and select "Name/URL" if you want to enter a comment under a name. Otherwise you can select Anonymus if you wish to remain anonymus. Click on the pictures to enlarge.
4. This screen will then pop up. Enter your name only. You will not need to fill out the URL box. Then click "Continue".
5. After you click "Post Comment" there usually is another pop up which requires you to read a word and type it. This is because Blogspot literally wants to make sure that the person leaving the comment is really human, and not a robot. After typing the word, click "Finish", and you comment will be submitted!

Thank you for the information, but what if I want to post my comments with a profile? Just like your "Band Geek" ?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteOh, I have followed your instruction and pressed "Post Comment" after I finished typing, however, it asked me to select a profile. So, maybe you need to include this part, i.e. "select Anonymous before pressing Post Comment".
By the way, how can we change our font to BOLD?

ReplyDeleteYes it is possible to post under a name other than Anonymus. As you can see I made the comment above this one without logging in as Band Geek.
ReplyDeleteTo do this, there is a dropdown menu next to the words "Comment as:". From there you can select "Name/URL" and type in a name. Then you can post a comment under a name!
Sorry if Im not too great at explaining things, so I'll attempt to put up some visual guides up now if it is more helpful.
Also, it isnt possible to post anything other than just normal plain text in comments. Blogspot does not offer the option to bold, italicise or underline text in comments.
